Reporting a Bug
Found a bug? Use the "Report Bug" button (visible on all pages in the bottom-right corner) to quickly submit a bug report.
What to Include
When reporting a bug, please provide:
- Title - A brief description of the issue
- What happened - Detailed description of the bug
- What you expected - What should have happened instead (optional)
- Severity - Select Low, Medium, or High
- Low - Minor visual issue or inconvenience
- Medium - Feature not working as expected
- High - Blocks critical functionality or data loss
- Reproducibility - Can you reproduce it consistently?
- Screenshot - Upload a screenshot if helpful (optional)
Auto-Captured Information
When you submit a bug report, we automatically capture technical details to help us fix the issue faster:
- Page/route where the bug occurred
- Your user role (homeowner, provider, admin)
- Browser and operating system
- Viewport size
- Console logs and failed network requests
- Build version
Bug Tracking
Each bug report receives a unique ID (e.g., BUG-100). Your bug will be reviewed by our team, and we'll work on a fix. While bug reports are submitted privately, administrators can track the status and progress in the admin dashboard.
Privacy
Bug reports include technical diagnostic information but no sensitive personal data. If your bug report requires sharing sensitive information, please contact support directly at support@renoview.com.au.
